FAQ

  • What type of portrait photoshoot's do you do?

Truly, the only type of photography that I refuse to do is wedding photography.

Portrait photography that I mainly do is headshots, engagement photos, maternity, senior portraits, and graduation photos.

  • How long does a team media day take?

Media day’s will depend on the number of athletes and complexity of the photoshoot. But typically you can expect the photoshoot to be anywhere from 1 to 2 hours long. Additional time would be needed for me to set up and to tear down after the photoshoot.

  • What is included in a sports media day photoshoot?

Each media day includes professional individual athlete portraits, creative lighting setups, and team/group photos. I will provide guidance throughout the session to ensure consistent, high-quality results that reflect your team’s identity.

  • Do you work with coaches and organizations on creative direction?

Yes. Before the shoot, I meet with coaches or program staff (either in person or through zoom) to discuss the team’s goals, values, and desired image. This ensures the final photos align with your program’s branding and identity.

  • What should athletes bring or wear?

Athletes should arrive in full uniform or designated team apparel. Any additional items such as alternate jerseys, sticks, helmets, or props should be approved ahead of time to keep the day running smoothly.

  • When will we receive the final images?

Final, professional edited images are typically delivered within 2-4 weeks depending on the photoshoot via online gallery. If photo delivery will be longer than 2 weeks, prior communication will happen.

  • Do you help with posing and direction?

Absolutely. I guide you throughout the session with natural posing and prompts, so you never have to worry about what to do in front of the camera.

  • What should I wear to my session?

If this is high school senior photos, then we should check to see if your school has any dress code requirements. I do allow you change your outfits, so I encourage one outfit matches those requirements. Other than that, I recommend wearing something that feels comfortable and reflects your personality. Neutral colors and simple patterns photograph well, and I’m happy to help you choose outfits during our planning process.

  • What happens if I need to reschedule or cancel?

Life happens! If you need to reschedule, just let me know as soon as possible. Cancellation and rescheduling policies will be discussed at the time of booking.
