Galápagos Islands
In March 2025, I had the incredible opportunity to travel to the Galápagos Islands as a chaperone on a school trip focused on environmental science. Throughout the week, we explored the islands’ unique ecosystems, observed their remarkable wildlife, and worked alongside students to collect research data. We also studied the growing impact of microplastics on the environment. It was an inspiring experience that highlighted both the beauty of the Galápagos and the importance of protecting fragile ecosystems like these.
